This Privacy Policy explains how Quantix ("Quantix," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Quantix trading terminal and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: the email address and name you provide when you sign up, or that we receive from a sign-in provider such as Google.
Brokerage connection data: when you connect a broker (for example, Alpaca), we store the access credentials or authorization tokens needed to act on your behalf. These are encrypted at rest and are used only to fulfill your requests.
Usage data: watchlists, settings, alerts, and interactions you configure within the Service, plus standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
Billing data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.

2. How We Use Information

To operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
To connect to and transmit orders to the brokerage accounts you authorize, at your direction.
To display market data, analytics, and account information you request.
To process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse.
To communicate with you about the Service.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Brokers and data providers you connect or that power the Service (for example, Alpaca for execution and market data), strictly to provide the functionality you request.
Service providers that host our infrastructure, process payments (Stripe), or provide authentication (Google), under obligations to protect your data.
Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quantix, our users, or others.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive credentials at rest and encrypted transport (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can disconnect any broker connection at any time from Quantix Settings or from the broker's own dashboard.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies only as needed to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use them to sell your data or serve third-party advertising.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
