These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quantix trading terminal, analytics tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Quantix ("Quantix," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Quantix is a software tool, not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner. Nothing in the Service is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. All trading decisions are yours alone.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.
Quantix provides a market data terminal, watchlists, analytics, alerting, strategy tooling, and an interface to place orders through third-party brokerage accounts that you choose to connect. Quantix does not hold your funds or securities, does not execute trades on its own behalf, and does not take custody of any assets. Execution occurs at your direction through your connected brokerage.
When you connect a brokerage account (for example, Alpaca) or another third-party service, you authorize Quantix to access account information and to transmit orders to that broker at your direction. Your relationship with each broker is governed by that broker's own agreements. Quantix is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, execution quality, or policies of any third-party broker or data provider. You may revoke a connection at any time from your broker's dashboard or from Quantix Settings.
Market data, signals, sentiment scores, analytics, and any automated or AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only, may be delayed or inaccurate, and must not be relied upon as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any transaction.
Trading in stocks, options, cryptocurrencies, futures, and other instruments involves substantial risk, including the possible loss of your entire investment. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You accept full responsibility for all trading activity conducted through connected accounts, including orders placed manually or by any automated strategy you configure.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a security or legal risk.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping data beyond permitted use, reselling access without authorization, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose or market manipulation.
Certain features may require a paid subscription. Applicable fees, billing terms, and any free tiers are described at the point of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that market data will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quantix and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, or loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quantix and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your trading activity, or your violation of these Terms.
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for any breach of these Terms or as necessary to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Quantix is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
